Blue-Eyed Husky/Pit Mix Looking for a Home

Posted: Updated:

This 9-month-old male, husky/pit mix is super sweet, playful, and loves being with other dogs. He's looking for a new home. Could it be yours?!

If you have room in your home and hearts for this blue-eyed beautiful boy, please contact Jeannie at 619-249-2803 or Jmuldoon@roadrunner.com. Read more from Jeannie below:

My best friend Cindy has a kid in College who decided to adopt a dog. Needless to say he couldn't keep him and he's been living with Cindy since Christmas. He's an awesome dog and she doesn't want to give him up, buthe's too much work for her. This is not a rescue situation, she won't be handing him over to anyone until she finds the perfect home. He's a 9-month-old male, pit/husky mix (hence the beautiful blue eyes). He's supersweet, playful, loves being with other dogs (as a matter of fact they arevisiting her in son in Chico this week and Jackson is at Animal Keeper having the time of his life). He's a SUPER cuddler. He needs someone who will give him a lot of attention/exercise, maybe someone even with another dog. He is a chewer/eater (she's not sure if that's just a puppy thing, but thinks he's doing it out of boredom). She can't be at home with him as much as he needs and they don't have the property yard for him either. It is killing her to give him up, but she feels it isn't fair to him. He's neutered, is up to date with all his shots, she has a huge crate for him, toys, leash, etc.

I've met him on several occasions and he's just a little lover, hereally is a great dog. I would take him if it wouldn't freak my cats out!:) Any help would be greatly appreciated, and again not a rescue situation.

Our Pet of the Week is one stunning black kitten - Patrick is a true charmer! Black cats have a particularly tough time being adopted due to superstition. This guy is such a charmer that even I'm having some witchcraft suspicions, but I'm sure it's just his warm personality that draws the crowds.More >>
