Eric Clapton has teamed up with Guitar Center to release recreated versions of his infamous guitars, including his Fender Stratocaster named "Brownie," and his Gibson "Lucy." Martin & Company is also creating three new acoustic guitars as part of Clapton's Crossroads Series Collection. Guitar Center will be selling 100 of each the "Lucy" and the "Brownie," along with only a small number of the acoustics.
Each of these guitars go for a large chunk of change, but if you can afford these they are definitely worth it. These guitars will be available starting March 21st exclusively at Guitar Center. Proceeds will benefit the Crossroads Centre Antigua Treatment Center. Along with the new guitars, Clapton has planned a Crossroads Guitar Festival in New York City on Aril 12th and 13th.
Legendary guitar gods such as Buddy Guy, Jeff Beck, and so many more will be performing in Madison Square Garden with Clapton to help raise money for the Antigua Center. Sign up to win a chance to play on stage with these legends, or enter the sweepstakes to win one of the guitars from Clapton's new collection. For all you future guitar gods out there, we hope to see you on stage this April.
