Mission Animal & Bird Hospital has a Multi-Purpose Room that is free of charge to local community groups. Our MPR can seat up to 50 people and is a great location for meetings, seminars and training sessions. The room is available during the week and on the weekends. Our next Veterinary Academy will be a two part presentation.

PART 1:

"The Physical Exam - What to Expect"

MABH's Dr. Monique Jones will be performing a live exam on a pet. She will explain everything our veterinarians look for when examining your pet as well as what instruments are used for the examination. She will encourage "hands on" interaction during the examination.

PART 2:

"Spay and Neuter - What is the process and why do we do it?"

Dr. Kathleen Rohan will be guiding the students through the surgical process of altering a pet. She will introduce the path our doctors and nurses take leading up to a surgery. She will also discuss the importance of spaying and neutering pets.
