A fitness trainer in Utah took his job to the next level in hopes of better understanding his larger clients. For years, Drew Manning says they told him he didn't understand their struggles because he had never been fat. So he decided to find out what it's really like and proceeded to pack on 70 pounds in six months.

Manning ate whatever he wanted (mostly unhealthy food) and didn't exercise at all during the six months he pigged out. He's been a passionate fitness buff his whole life, so he knows how to stay in shape. Now, he's going to document every step of his journey back to fitness on his website. He'll show us his meal and workout plans, along with weekly pics and measurements.
Manning hopes to further understand how hard it really is to be overweight, even though it's only going to be for six months. But at least he'll get a small window of the physical and emotional issues that come with being overweight.
On his website he also says, "My goal is to inspire people to get fit, teach them how to do it and give them hope that it IS possible to get fit and stay fit."
