Ingredients

  • 1 large crusty Italian roll, cut "hot dog" style leaving a "hinge"
  • Genoa salami
  • 5 - 6 pieces of marinated artichoke hearts, roughly chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons ready made Olive tampenade
  • Mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • Fresh basil leaves

Steps

  1. Spread olive tampenade onto the roll
  2. Cover with 6 or so slices of the salami
  3. Then add 3 or 4 slices of the cheese
  4. Cover with the artichoke hearts and basil leaves
  5. Close the sandwich, cut in half and share
