
So this past weekend I went to this new activity that is supposed to be therapeutic and a great work out called AcroYoga. Which is Acrobatic Yoga and you do it with a partner and can eventually do more advanced moves like doing a handstand on your partners hands. In the beginning stages where I was at I got assigned a partner and she was the base and I was the "flyer". As I was being flown she practiced massage techniques and integrated different movements to hit certain trigger points that release tension in the muscles. It was a great experience and I am going to add this to my weekly workout routine. It was more fun then yoga and you got to interact a lot more. This activity was just discovered 5 years ago so it is relatively new. I also got hired on to do glow and fire performances in Pacific Beach this past week which I am very much looking forward to.
