Emily's new visual freedom! LATEST UPDATE!

DSC Morning Show member, Emily Maguire, had spent most of her adult life in eye-glasses. During a trip to Europe in December 2010, Emily had a hard time seeing the historical and breathtaking sites well. Without her glasses, she was squinting and seeing only blurry castles and landmarks. In the New Year, she resolved to be free of glasses and researched LASIK surgeons in San Diego.
 
Emily chose Dr. Sandy T. Feldman at ClearView Eye and Laser Medical Center. And thanks to Dr. Sandy T. Feldman, her life and vision is forever changed!

We used to have poor eyesight in common,
now I just share a love of Australia with our Koala friends.

Before LASIK I couldn't enjoy nights out without my glasses.
Now I love summertime activities like Padres games
and can even wear trendy fun sunglasses at night! Love the photobomb!

Now that I'm free of glasses, babies have to find
different accessories to try and yank off me.

When you have eagle eye vision, you're kind of a big deal.

The first time I met Keith Urban I was too self conscious to wear my glasses.
I was unable to take in every yummy detail clearly.
Thankfully I got another chance and man does he look good!

 

Thanks to Dr. Feldman I no longer have to stress about glasses flashing in photos.

Two Christmases ago, I spent my vacation squinting my way thru Europe. In Vienna, I trudged up the steep 343 steps of St. Stephen's Cathedral to lookout from 448 feet above the city, only to realize I had forgotten my glasses, making it difficult to fully appreciate the view.

This year, I spent the holidays in one of the most beautiful countries in the world, Australia. Thanks to LASIK, when I climbed the Harbour Bridge, reaching the same heights, I was able to thoroughly enjoy the breathtaking views.

I also clearly took in all of the Harbour City from the Sydney Tower, soaring nearly 900 feet in the sky.

The land down under is a beautiful place with the most incredible beaches I have ever seen and kangaroo roaming everywhere.

With LASIK you will see the world like you never have before!!

This time of year there are lots of holiday activities and parties happening. Thanks to my LASIK, I can dress to the nines and not worry about my glasses clashing with my outfit. Plus glasses no longer get in the way of fun outings!

One of my favorite parts of life since LASIK continues to be using glasses as fun accessories!

While it's fun to have the option to accessorize with silly glasses, it's so nice to not absolutely need them in order to see while out trick or treating.

The sun sets earlier this time of year, making it more difficult to see. Thanks to LASIK, I don't have to rely on my glasses to enjoy awesome fall activities like the MCAS Twilight Air Show.

Enjoying a beautiful evening wedding, with no need to worry about having both my sunglasses and glasses to take in every beautiful detail.

Don't let glasses drive you crazy any longer!

Charity work - less stress, way more fun when I don't have to rely on my glasses. With RedEye Inc at their 4th annual Senior Citizen Prom!

I can enjoy all my favorite summertime activities like running, camping, hanging at the beach, like I never did before thanks to LASIK! 

My friend Lindsey heard me talking about LASIK and finally decided to get it for herself! As a mom, she's most looking forward to being able to see in the middle of the night when checking on her girls. Plus she's looking forward to having cool sunglasses at the beach! She goes in later in July and I am so excited for her!

And one of my favorite things is using glasses as fun accessories now!

Not everyone is lucky enough to hang with the Padres on the field.  Enjoy the games from anywhere in the park without needing glasses or contacts to see all the action!

With spring here, I am enjoying the great weather and beautiful views around San Diego!

Hiking is a favorite springtime activity.  Thanks to LASIK, the views are always awesome these days!

Grateful I can celebrate Elaina's birthday without having to be Four Eyes! Before Lasik, my eyesight was worse in the evenings...that worry is now a thing of the past.

Wow!  I can see our Club 33 bill extremely clearly thanks to my Lasik!  Most expensive lunch I have ever enjoyed!

Since Lasik, going to the movies is awesome...even better in a recliner with servers!

Excited to cheer on the Aztecs and not worry about remembering my glasses for games. I believe that we will win!!

Perhaps my friend here should give Dr. Feldman a call and see if she can help with his eye!

Glasses used to be a necessity in my life.  Now I have the freedom to enjoy life without them...

or use them as accessories just for the fun of it!!

My friend Lindsey was intimidated by LASIK, but has been inspired to check it out after hearing about what a wonderful experience I had with Dr. Feldman and ClearView.

When my world started to look blurry, I dreaded the thought of glasses and contacts. So many of my friends raved about life after LASIK, it was clear LASIK was the way to go in order to enjoy life - squint and hassle free!  Can't wait to see my world in high definition!
